Pokemon Dark Violet is a remaster of Pokemon Red and Green. But unlike the official Fire Red and Leaf Green, this game is created as how the author think the real remake should be. The game focuses on Gneration 1 Pokemons with new animations, sprites, graphics, and re-scripts.
You did only benchmark initialization. An heuristic algorithm should let the compiler switch between two ways of implementation: – if the record contain a lot of non reference-counted data and a few reference-counted fields, generate code to initialize only some reference-counted field; – if the record contain mainly reference-counted data (as in your benchmark), generate code to make a fillchar() of 0 on the whole record (like for class initialization). This part of the RTL is not optimzed. Delphi initialize record. IMHO record initialization should not be made at runtime, using RTTI, but should be prepared at compile time, with proper code generation.

Once again, localized game change crap that makes things confusing. It seemed like a great idea at first, but it just caused confusion between the international and Japanese versions.

Also I think in Heart Gold and Soul Silver, Blue (Gary) was called Green, and his room has a Green Carpet, much like Red's room has a Red Carpet. I think Blue (The Girl) was originally going to be an optional female main trainer you could play as in the Generation I remake, Pokemon Blue, but it was scrapped. This ROM Hack looks interesting and I think I'll give it a download, heck if it's good enough (and Nintendo won't flag the video) I may just Let's Play it on my Youtube Channel; Scythe Ironclaw!
