Backuptrans registration code. Full Show Summary Eureka is a science fiction show that premiered on the Syfy channel in 2006, and just had its last season this year. The show is based in the fictional town of Eureka, Oregon and is inhabited mostly by scientific geniuses that work for a place called Global Dynamics. The workers at Global Dynamics are responsible for all of the major technological developments released. There is a major story that goes on in every season, and in every episode there is some accident or misuse of technology that the town sherriff and the scientists at Global Dynamics has to solve or fix. The town of Eureka is a fictional town where everything is perfect, from the schools to the health care. This town was created by Harry Truman and other officials of the government so that our uber geniuses could work in peace at future inventions.
The only problem with Eureka is that it’s not on any map. Rihanna cheers to the weekend. The town and its residents are a closely guarded secret that Jack Carter stumbles onto while transporting a criminal charge (his own teenage daughter.) When the towns sherriff is crippled in an accident Jack who is a U.S. Marshal is quickly ordered by our government to take over by as Sherriff. Jack reluctantly agrees, and though he is not a genius like the other residents of Eureka he is keen, insightful, and determined to help preserve the safety and secrecy of the town and the people he now calls friends. Peppered with a cast of actors that made the show the success that it was, Eureka is a fictional look at what may be going on in out-of-the way towns in America that we never see. All of the residents of Eureka are must see characters and the show received rave reviews during its run.

Sadly, the show quickly ran out of fresh ideas and turned into a formulaic, intelligence smothering, insulting show. With the thin guise of a continuing story line wrapped around an enigmatic power source, the writers pump out classic bait and switch story techniques that are so obvious it hurts to watch. I have seen every episode.
