Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is free for PS+ subscribers starting right now. During Monday evening’s Sony E3 Showcase, the company announced that starting immediately Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 would be free to download for PlayStation Plus subscribers. This adds an extra free game to Sony’s June offerings——and a pretty high-value offering as far as free PlayStation games go. Call Of Duty titles rarely get more than a slim sale for years after launch and it’s even more rare to find one as a free offering from either Sony or Microsoft.
While the game is decidedly not boots-on-the-ground, it’s still a popular first-person shooter on consoles and this should give it a healthy influx of new players. Even if you’re not a big Call of Duty fan, you might as well download it for free.
